Return to office, aka RTO, is when a company tells people they need to come back to the physical workplace, either full time or on set days, after a period of remote or hybrid work. It is basically your job saying, “We had fun with pajamas, now back to fluorescent lighting.” The roast is that they call it “collaboration,” but a lot of it feels like checking if you still exist.
