Mid just means mediocre or kind of average, like it is fine but not impressive. People use it as a polite way to say, “I have seen better,” without fully committing to the harshness of “bad.” It is basically the internet grading system where 10 is legendary, 1 is tragic, and mid is, congrats, you are not canceled, but you are also not getting invited.
