Work-life balance just means you try to stop work from eating your whole life, like setting boundaries so you still have time and energy for you, your family, and your hobbies. The internet job version is basically, “I’m not replying at 11 p.m.” but said with better lighting and a productivity quote. Roast aside, it is the permission slip to treat your off time like it actually counts.
