“Boundaries” online usually means you are drawing a line for what you will and will not tolerate, like “I am not answering calls after 9,” or “No, I will not date you if you do X.” The trend is basically people trying to be emotionally bossy in a healthy way, because the alternative is silently suffering and then calling it “communication.” It is also a little funny, because the same folks who say “respect my boundaries” sometimes will not respect anyone else’s calendar
