Weaponized incompetence is when someone acts like they cannot do something or does it badly on purpose, so the other person ends up doing it instead. It is basically weaponizing “oops, I’m too incompetent” to shift responsibility and save themselves the effort. Next time you hear it, think of a grown adult playing pretend they cannot read a microwave, then acting shocked you did the dishes.
