main character

Main character is slang for when you act like the star of your own movie, posting or living with big “everyone else is background” energy, usually with a little confidence or dramatized self focus. People also say main character energy when your vibe is so self-assured it feels like the camera is always on you. It’s basically Instagram’s way of asking, “Do you have a plot, or are you just loading screens?” (dictionary.com
